Job Title: Broadcast Video Director
Ministry/Department: Production

Objective
This role is responsible for leading the production and delivery of Eleven22 Online live experiences and in-room video; maintaining and improving campuswide video infrastructure at the main campus and overseeing video planning and execution for weekly services, major events and online conferences. The role coordinates the people and systems needed for these productions, including Planning Center Online and develops supporting digital content to create excellent experiences for remote audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an authentic and growing walk with Jesus Christ through the ongoing spiritual disciplines of Bible reading, prayer, personal worship, fasting, confession and fellowship
- Lead the planning and delivery of live online services and large-scale online and in-person events, ensuring a high-quality, consistent and timely experience
- Maintain and support the video infrastructure across the campus, including displays, projectors, cameras, switchers, routing and playback systems, ensuring all gear is service-ready and performing reliably
- Provide strategic and creative ownership of the full online experience, leading cross-functional teams to deliver a cohesive, high-quality digital ministry
- Direct the creation and production of digital content that enhances and extends live events, including transitional elements and graphics for online playback
- Curate and create content resources specifically for online and remote audiences to be used during live streaming
- Coordinate Planning Center Online plans, schedules and dates with online content and service run-of-show
- Partner with production teams to align in-room and online experiences, communicating each event’s vision, outline and expectations
- Partner with the Technical Director on evaluation, procurement and stewardship of equipment and tools to support and continually improve the online live experience
- Partner with the Eleven22 Online team to ensure prerecorded and live host moments meet qualitative standards for the online broadcast
- Participate in monthly planning meetings with online staff to curate upcoming online-specific events and content
- Build, develop and lead the broadcast video team, including staff and serve staff, to support current needs and future growth
- Lead in discipling the camera operator serve staff team, empowering high-level serve staff to partner in discipling the team
- Provide video production support for campus ministry events, including celebrations of life, weddings, baptisms, conferences, meetings and other gatherings hosted on campus

Education and Experience
- Three to five years of experience in live video production, streaming or digital content production
- Experience directing or producing live broadcasts
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
Expected Hours of Work
Work Hours Expectations: 40 hours or more.
Schedule Expectations: Sunday through Thursday (hours may vary based on church needs, to include working full weekends).
The church has several big events (“All-Skates”) throughout the year to help further the mission of The Church of Eleven22. These events are mandatory for all staff to be in attendance and may vary, depending on the vision cast for the current year.

Work Environment/Physical Demands
Work is performed in office, production, live-event and occasional outdoor environments. Duties may involve prolonged periods of sitting, standing or walking; working in low light or high audio settings and sustained attention to video monitors, cameras and production activity. The role may require carrying, lifting and setting up equipment weighing up to 25 pounds, as well as bending, reaching and moving equipment through production spaces. The role requires evening and weekend availability for services and events, occasional travel for production and filming and the ability to communicate, stay focused and respond effectively as conditions change during live broadcasts.
Ministerial Exception
The ministerial exception furthers the purposes of the Free Exercise and Establishment Clauses of the First Amendment by barring legal claims against church bodies by staff members who perform religious functions. All church pastors are subject to the exception, but a formal ministerial credential is not required. While there is no rigid formula to determine other church staff members who qualify, various factors are considered to determine which staff members are subject to the ministerial exception (please see the handbook).
